This bikeway is unusual in that it is alongside a river and is designed for inundation. The posts are heavier than usual as is the bikeway rail which is also structural.

We have just finished the erection of the cycleway fencing that [Outdoor Structures Australia] supplied to us last financial year.

We at [the Deniliquin Shire] Council are very happy with the product and are receiving positive comments from the public on its appearance.

The fencing was included in this section of the walk/cycleway (approx 150m) because of the steep drop off from the edge of the walk/cycleway to the Edwards River below (approx 6m).
