The Environmental Precinct has been developed to provide a unique teaching, research and recreational resource for staff and students of UQ Gatton (formerly Queensland Agricultural College) and the Gatton community while protecting, maintaining and encouraging the biodiversity of the local environment. The boardwalks skirt the lake and connect to the bird hides which are recycled goat sheds. |
