The All Abilities Play Space at lake Alford, Gympie, is one of 15 which have been made possible through generous assistance from the State Government. Funding was also sourced through sponsorship/donations. All Abilities Play Space is one of the most remarkable projects that OSA has been associated with. Outdoor Structures Australia's involvement with this project was the design and supply of a shelter and all ability toilet block. The shelter is a modification of our Lindsay triple shelter. Rob Seymour of Insite EMLA said it was a great privilege to provide the Gympie community with such a high quality facility. The Gympie All Abilities Playspace at Lake Alford was designed by Insite EM LA in association with their project partner Urban Play with the input of many members of the Gympie community and the staff of Gympie Regional Council. Rob Seymour for Insite said: I believe the success of the project was a result of the fantastic contribution of the community of Gympie both in the initial planning phase of the project and then in the following construction phase. It really has been a terrific project to be involved in and I'm looking forward to see how space further develops over time as the community embraces it and makes it a facility of regional significance.” |
